LEVEL 2 INTERNATIONAL AWARD IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND USE OF AN AED
Provides core CPR and AED skills for responding to cardiac emergencies.

OVERVIEW:
This course includes being able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally, being able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, knowing how to safely use an automated external defibrillator, and being able to safely use an automated external defibrillator.
RECOMMENDED FOR:
This qualification is recommended for learners who wish to understand basic first aid in the workplace and who also have access to a defibrillator.
DURATION:
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 4 hours of learning.
CERTIFICATION:
Upon successful completion, learners will receive the Level 2 International Award in Basic Life Support, jointly certified by Trainex Skills Hub and Highfield Qualifications.
This qualification is also approved by KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) and demonstrates compliance with local and international first aid standards
